Adrienne Hart, 85, is the creator and director of the Rhinestone Grannies.  She founded the group in 1998.  She has taught dance for the past 30 years, and is also a tap and jazz dancer, actress, comedienne, writer and speaker.  She has performed in the Spotlight Dance Arts recitals, Senior Follies, Infinity Dance Arts and Lamplighters CommunityTheatre.  Adrienne thanks the Lord for allowing her to pursue her passions.  Adrienne has two children, five grandchildren, and nine great grands.

Crystal Heringer, 83, has danced for 26 years,tap, jazz, line dance and hip hop. She assists Adrienne in running the day to day operations of the troupe. Crystal has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2009. Crystal has four sons and 15 grandchildren.

Charlyn Marks, 78, has many talents including singing, dancing, playing the harp, sewing and quilting. She creates most of the costumes for the group, and is the assistant to the choreographer.  Charlyn has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2010.  Charlyn has three children and nine grandchildren.

Lorle Roper, 70,  has been dancing since the age of 3. She enjoyed performing for over 14 years in community theatre in Illinois. After moving to California, she taught aerobics, danced in church and performed as a clown. She has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2022.  Lorle is a widow with 5 kids and 10 grand-“kitties”. She is so grateful to God for her ability to perform with the Rhinestone Grannies.

Linda Rundell, 81, took tap, ballet, and acrobatics for 10 years as a child.  Then at age 65  she returned to dancing,  taking lessons at Spotlight Dance Arts in tap,  jazz,  and musical theater. Since then she has performed in numerous Spotlight dance concerts and  parades, the Senior Follies and joined the Rhinestone Grannies in 2022.  Linda  has one son, one granddaughter, nine step-grandchildren, and one step great grandchild.

Rosemarie Ballard, 80, is a super entertainer, emcee, actor, dancer, singer, mime, clown, speaker, teacher and writer. Rosemarie is the founder and director of Imagination Express All Aboard since 1998. Her book “Silence is Golden” is a best seller. Rosemarie’s goal is to keep the art of Mime alive. She has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2018.  Rosemarie has 19 grandchildren and four great grands.

Patee Spurlock, 77, is a singer, dancer, actress, model, baton twirler extraordinaire, and a beauty consultant. She has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2018. Patee has two children and three grandchildren.

E. Louise Smith, 79, has appeared in several films, TV shows, and commercials. She performed at the Old Globe, Welk Theater, Christian Community Theater and starred for a year and a half in “Dressing Room Divas” as Elizabeth Taylor, in L.A.She also appeared as Ms. Taylor in Japan, Montreal, Las Vegas, Palm Springsand San Diego. Louise believes that “Laughter is the best medicine” And “The Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need.”  Louise has been married for over 50 years and has three children and seven grandchildren.  She has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2019. 

Janet Piatek, 78, is a dancer, actress, emcee, standup comedian and has appeared in the television series “Pitch”, several Festival short movies, the San Diego Follies, Vaudeville Theater and portrayed Phyllis Diller at On Stage and Grugio Studios Telethon. Janet currently serves as president of the San Diego All Star Clowns and Family Entertainers.  Janet has two sons and three granddaughters.  She has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2007. 

John James, 82, is an original singer with the world-famous Platters and has also performed with the Temptations. He has been in show business over 60 years! John still performs all over the world.He is a native of East Orange, New Jersey and graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Law and Theater Arts, and a proud Army Veteran.  Although he says he is retired, he still manages to perform over 100 shows a year in tribute to the Platters and others. “I guess it’s in my DNA to perform.” John has performed with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2012.  John has two children and one grandchild.

Michael Aronstein, 82, has been dancing for over 20 years.  He has performed in the Senior Follies, Infinity Dance Arts productions, Spotlight Dance Arts recitals and Center Stage Players Musical Comedies.  He is the Rhinestone Grannies audio and video engineer, photographer, web designer, and dancer since 2008.  Michael is married to Adrienne Hart and has two children, two step children, 5 step grand children and 9 step great grands.
