Adrienne Hart, 80, has two children, four grandchildren, and three great grandchilden. Adrienne is the creator and director of the Rhinestone Grannies, founding the group in 1998. She has taught dance for the past 26 years, and is also a tap and jazz dancer, actress, comedienne, writer and speaker. Adrienne thanks the Lord for allowing her to pursue her passions.

Betty Cleveland, 89, has four sons, and 15 grandchildren. Betty had been dancing for over 20 years, including ballet, ballroom, tap, jazz and line dancing. She has also won gold medals in the Senior Olympics. Betty still loves to boogie board.
Crystal Heringer, 78, has three sons, a daughter, a step son, 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She has been dancing for the past 26 years. She has performed tap, jazz, hip hop and ballet. As a young girl ballet was her favorite. She can still do a full split! Crystal has been dancing with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2009.
Donna Gieger, 85, has three children, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Donna has taught dancing for the past 60 years specializing in tap. She is proud to say she is still teaching and dancing. Donna has been dancing with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2009. She is their main choreographer.
Charlyn Marks, 73, has three children and ten grandchildren. Among her many talents are singing, dancing, playing the harp, and sewing. She makes most of the costumes for the group, and is the assistant to the choreographer. She has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2010.
Karen Bain, 64, has three children, two stepchildren and seven grandchildren. She has been dancing Hula and Tahitian for over 50 years. Although Polynesian dance is her first love, she enjoys all forms of dance. She has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2013.
Janet Piatek, 72, has two sons and three granddaughters. She has been dancing for the past 25 years. Her favorite styles are line dancing, ball room and tap. Janet’s interests also include acting and standup comedy. She has performed as a dancer and Phyllis Diller impersonator in various local venues, including San Diego’s Got Talent. She also worked as an extra on television and promotional films. Janet is the current part-time emcee for the Rhinestone Grannies.
Rosemarie Ballard, 75, has 7 children, 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is an emcee, actor, dancer, singer, mime, clown, entertainer, speaker, teacher, and writer. Rosemarie is the founder and directer of Imagination Express All Aboard. Her book, “Silence is Golden”, is a best seller. Rosemarie’s goal is to keep the art of mime alive. She has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2018.
Patee Spurlock, 72, has two children and three great grandchildren. Patee is a singer, dancer, actress, model, baton twirler extraordinaire, and a beauty consultant. She has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2019.
Michael Aronstein, 76, is married to Adrienne Hart, has two children, two step children, four grand children and three great grandchilden. He has been dancing for over fifteen years. He has performed with several local production groups. He is a dancer, audio and video engineer, photographer, and web site designer. He has been with the Rhinestone Grannies since 2008.
John James, 77, was an original member of The Platters and has also performed with the Temptations. He is a Native of East Orange, New Jersey and graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Law and Theater Arts, and is an Army Veteran. John has been in show business for over 60 years, and he still performs virtually all around the world. Although he says he is retired, he still manages to perform over 100 shows per year in tributes to the Platters and others. “I guess it’s in my DNA to perform. One of my favorites to perform with when I am not on the road, are the very talented Adrienne Hart and the Rhinestone Grannies.” John currently resides in La Jolla, California and has lived in Southern California for over 40 years.
